For an afternoon activity your group is more than welcome to join our Montreal Bachelor Party Afternoon Craft Beer Tour which starts very close to your hotel (approx. 7 minutes walk).
Start your Montreal bachelor party off with an oyster and a vodka shot at le Majestic Restaurant & Bar. Read our review to find out why you shouldn’t miss out on this joint. In this area, Kama Sutra is the nearest strip club… we recommend it. They claim to host the most beautiful women, and the India-inspired venue is not to be missed. For your mandatory hangover brunch, go to La Fabrique on St-Denis street… scrumptious eggs and potatoes, Montreal style.

The Montreal W Hotel
Set in the International District, the W Montreal Hotel is a classy, high end hotel. If that’s the kind of bachelor party you’re planning, the W Montreal Hotel is an excellent choice. It’s popular for its bar and sophisticated lounge, where you’re sure to meet people from all over and even locals!
Hotel Place d’Armes
Located in the heart of the Old Town, the Place d’Armes Hotel offers one of the nicest views from it’s terrace, right onto the water. With its gorgeous rooms and its perfect balance of festive and classy atmosphere, this hotel covers all bases.
Intercontinental Hotel
Rated 5 stars, this is our top pick for the luxurious bachelor. The Intercontinental Montreal Hotel has a great Absinthe Bar, spa amenities, and also the best Bell Men. These guys are well connected, and can get you anything (if you know what I mean).
If you decide to stay in the Old Montreal district, here are few local Montreal Bachelor party tips:
One of Montreal’s best Clubs is the Velvet Speakeasy. This joint has huge parties every week-end. This is our number one club suggestion! A quick look at their Facebook page will tell you why. For a great brunch after a big night of party, consider Olive and Gourmando. They’ve got chicken sandwiches that are to die for on fresh bread. This spot is well known in town as one of the best. For a casual 5 à 7 or a bar to start your night (that’s what we call “happy hour” here), consider the Assommoir and Confessional bar.
Quartier des Spectacles (The Festival Area)
Hyatt Regency Hotel
If you’re planning to travel to Montreal during its famous summer festival season, between June and July, the Hyatt Montreal Hotel is your top pick. Right at the heart of the action, you’ll be steps away from outdoor activities, venues, and concerts. Some highlights are: The Montreal International Jazz Festival and the Just for Laughs Comedy Festival. Festivals are the perfect way to take your Montreal bachelor party to the next level.
What to do in the Quartier des Spectacles District:
Furco is an industrial-chic bar in the heart of downtown. They have a long list of wine, creative cocktails, beer, and an assortment of whiskey. The SAT is always hosting a myriad of cool events and dance parties and has an awesome terrace and great food. For coffee, you absolutely must go to the Café Parvis. They also serve pastries and pizza in a charming atmosphere. You’ll be really close to McGill campus, a beautiful area filled with history and benches, perfect for a bachelor party recharge: a breath of fresh air, and maybe absorb some knowledge by osmosis. Our Montreal Brewpub Craft Beer tour (perfect for bachelors) finishes not far from the Place des Festivals and the Hyatt Hotel.
Downtown Montreal (Less Expensive Hotels)
The Downtown district hotels are perfect for downtown activity proximity, of course. You can go watch a hockey game, a show at the Bell Centre, have a drink at a terrace on Crescent street, organize a club crawl or go to a few strip clubs. The possibilities are endless, and you’re likely cross a few bachelor parties on your path and give each other high fives. Consider the Tavern Square Dominion which is one of the nicest bar Montreal has to offer. The bar looks like an old-fashion tavern and is always bustling. All this makes the Tavern a true historic and stylish experience. Also, Chez Paré is one of Montreal’s most famous strip club and it should be on your to do list.
Holiday Inn
Let’s face it: bachelor parties ‘aint cheap. One way to cut costs is to save your budget for the booze and clubs, and stay at one of the more generic hotels. And you know what? According to some TripAdvisor reviews, that might just be the best way to go. Here is a review from Tripadvisorthat gives some interesting insight into The Holiday Inn.
