You’ll explore two of the city’s most iconic and authentic neighborhoods – St. Lawrence and the Distillery District. Lose yourself in the storied halls of the St. Lawrence Market, a must-visit destination for foodies that was established in 1803 and is one of the city’s oldest landmarks. Here, you will taste some of Toronto’s best culinary offerings and immerse yourself in the local food culture.

From there, you’ll venture onto the Distillery District, a pedestrian-only area that boasts charming cobblestone streets and beautiful Victorian-era buildings. This district was once the largest distillery in the world and has since been transformed into a hub for arts, culture, and entertainment.

After the tour, you’ll have had the opportunity to explore local galleries, boutiques, and artisan shops, as well as sample some of Toronto’s finest local delicacies. Get ready to discover the hidden treasures that make Toronto a foodie and culture lover’s paradise.

  • Our journey starts at the St. Lawrence Market, Toronto’s historic marketplace dating back over 200 years.
  • First up, we’ll visit a pub known for making one of the best versions of the “peameal bacon sandwich”, also known as Canadian bacon.
  • Then we’ll visit a local fish market, where a delicious surprise awaits – our Secret Dish.
  • Next, you’ll indulge in a popular no-bake dessert whose origin is shrouded in mystery.
  • After that, we’ll walk over for a taste of the rich Italian roots that exist not only in Toronto but all of Canada, where you’ll enjoy a comforting trio of Alfredo, Pesto & Tomato Sauce Tortellini – a local favorite loaded with rich flavor.
  • Then we’ll head into the historic Distillery District to visit a local craft brewery, where you’ll devour a delicious serving of classic poutine – crispy fries topped with squeaky cheese curds and savory gravy, the ultimate Canadian comfort food.
  • And for a great end, you’ll devour the mouth-watering goodness of a classic Canadian pastry, the famous Butter Tart.
