  1. Your journey begins in the heart of Old Québec with a refined appetizer pairing that showcases the region’s wild ingredients — earthy Lion’s Mane mushrooms and a delicate duck breast carpaccio that nods to the city’s deep French roots.
  2. After a short stroll through centuries-old streets, you’ll warm up with a comforting trio of traditional Québécois staples: a silky pea soup, savory pâté chinois, and chewy maple taffy pulled fresh for you, just like at the cabane à sucre.
  3. Next, you’ll be welcomed into a cozy 200-year-old home for a truly memorable plate: hand-made gnocchi bathed in a silky sauce of Île-aux-Grues cheddar, cream, shallot, and white wine, finished with a black garlic crumble.
  4. As we continue through the old town’s charming alleys, prepare for a sweet stop featuring a melt-in-your-mouth sucre à la crème and a bite of what many call the best croissant in Québec City.
  5. We close the tour the only way it could end — with poutine, the dish that defines Québec like no other.

*On Sundays and Mondays, when BEClub Bistro is closed, we visit Bistro Hortus, a local classic, where we enjoy a plate of lobster bisque.
