Quebec Health Regulations Update
Effective September, 2021, all guests are required to show proof of vaccination to attend the Food Tours.
1. La Bûche - We start the tour with a 3-course tasting here with a Québécois pea soup, pâté chinois, and maple taffy.
2. Chez Paillard - Discover the true french-style bakery and taste the best croissant in town.
3. Chez Boulay Comptoir Boréal - Enjoy a traditional Québécois holiday dessert: sucre à la crème.
4. BEClub Bistro - Step into a 200-year-old house for a unique experience, and find out if you've got enough room for their Québécois mac and cheese with maple bacon. Adult + Alcohol tickets receive a local wine ( 2oz glass) selected by the sommelier.
5. Maison Livernois - Taste the most notorious dish in Quebec City: poutine! Adult + Alcohol tickets receive a Québécois gin pairing.
One-of-a-Kind Food Tasting — The The Old Quebec City Food Tour is a 3-hour guided walking tour, with 5 tasting locations showcasing the passionate food community residing in Old Quebec. Each stop is its own unique foodie universe: from a rustic sugar-shack style experience to a gin distillery, historic monastery and traditional French bakery! The food tastings you’ll enjoy are enough to fill you up like a hearty, satisfying lunch… so be sure to bring your appetite! Historic & Cultural Experience – The Old Quebec City Food Tour is much more than just a food tour! In between delicious bites, we stop at a variety of historical landmarks and unique Old Quebec sights. We’ll take you to Quebec City’s famous Swiss clock, Dufferin Terrace by the St. Lawrence River, as well as what just might be the tiniest house in North America, and much more! As we walk through the windy streets, the guide will speckle your tour with the city’s quirky and sometimes surprising history! We CAN provide vegetarian, lactose-free and gluten-free options, but CANNOT provide substitutions certain specific allergies. Vegetarian and other substitutions must be indicated in advance at time of ticket purchase.

If you’re an early bird, we suggest you have a small breakfast before coming. If not, you can skip breakfast and come directly to the food tour. Our first tasting is a poutine.
Tickets must be purchased before 9 a.m. on the given tour date. We recommend booking your tickets in advance as most tours tend to sell out.

The number of paid parking spots is limited in the streets of Old Quebec. There is also underground parking available at City Hall. More information will be sent in your booking confirmation email.
