One-of-a-Kind Food Tasting — On our 2 1/2-hour tour of the famous Plateau Mont-Royal neighbourhood, we invite you to taste the best of the old and the new. Visit the restaurants that have become beloved Montreal institutions like Schwartz’s Deli with its world-renowned smoked meat and Notre-Dame du Rosaire’s delicious traditional Portuguese natas. We visit the new popular bars and restaurants that have turned into instant Plateau hot spots. We kick off the tour at the newest and hippest bar in the Plateau called Bar Darling. Enjoy a tasty goat cheese salad! We explore this new generation of eateries with our first stop at Épicerie Hao serveing unique steamed buns inspired by small Tokyo counter restaurants. Next, the tour discusses the history behind Jewish food at Café Fletcher. We finish off the tour in the amazing community centre named Santropol Roulant! They prepare and deliver around 100 meals a day by bike to the elderly or people with disabilities. You’ll see their entire installation and beautiful rooftop garden overlooking the Plateau! **Dietary and Age Restrictions —We are happy to say that we can accommodate vegetarians and those who are gluten-intolerant on the Plateau Food Tour. Unfortunately, given the nature of our food stops, we cannot accommodate vegans. We invite vegans to try our equally exciting Mile End Montreal Food Tour where we can offer vegan dishes. The tour is for those aged 18+ given our stop at Bar Darling where children are not permitted. We invite families with children to try our other food tours, especially our popular Evening Mile End Food Tour which lasts two hours and includes ice cream!

3. Notre-Dame du Rosaire
Next, we savour an authentic Portuguese dessert called nata from a family-run bakery.
4. Museum of Jewish Montreal & Fletcher’s Café
We’ll delve into Montreal’s Jewish culinary history and sample a famous St. Viateur bagel with cream cheese, lemon and onions .
5. Schwartz’s Deli
We grab a smoked meat sandwich at this world-famous deli. Some claim it’s the best smoked meat in the world!
6. Santropol Roulant
