Old Montréal is a one-of-a-kind European-style district. Its historic buildings, narrow streets, and flourishing foodie scene make it a mix of exciting elements to taste and discover. Through public squares, landmarks, and eateries, our Old Montréal Food Tour allows you to experience the culinary scene locals love so much, all while learning about the surrounding network of historic sites. Join our passionate and knowledgeable local guides to uncover some of Montréal’s most enticing bits of history, visual treats, and tasty bites in a unique and interactive way that's enjoyable for visitors and locals alike. We conduct our tours with a sustainable tourism ethos, aiming to disrupt daily life in the community as little as possible while ensuring equitable wages for all of our tour guides. You'll leave with a full heart, mind and of course, a full stomach!
One-of-a-Kind Food Tastings — This 3-hour guided walking tour brings you on a culinary voyage through Montréal’s charming historic district. If you were out late the night before, no problem! Three of our five tasting locations are sit-down restaurants, including a wine bar with a poutine and wine pairing! We’ll also give you a water bottle early on in the tour. Perfect for your bachelorette party needs, this tour also features a local gluten-free bakery, and a glass of rosé! We make sure you have the most authentic Québécois experience too, with two traditional Quebec dishes. In between food tastings, we stop to talk about Montréal’s culture and history, through its old and not-so-old buildings, in a fresh Local Montréal Tour way!
Historic & Cultural Experience — Walking through Montréal’s cobblestone streets, you will have the chance to relax and take in old-world charm, as your guide leads you to the district’s richest historic spots. Old Montréal is an excellent example of the city’s English and French heritage, which we discuss and observe by visiting various important landmarks. But Old Montreal is more than just history… Charming cafes, trendy speakeasies, art galleries and more line the streets creating a space that is as relevant to Montreal culture today as hundreds of years ago. Our tour provides you with a unique way of discovering these landmarks, as our local guides share their first-hand experience of these cultures. They will share the stories behind the Old Port, Place d’Armes and more.
