What to expect from the Old Montréal Food Tour?
One-of-a-Kind Food Tastings
This 3-hour guided walking tour brings you on a culinary voyage through Montréal’s charming historic district. If you were out late the night before, no problem! Three of our five tasting locations are sit-down restaurants, including a wine bar with a poutine and wine pairing! We’ll also give you a water bottle early on in the tour.
Perfect for your bachelorette party needs, this tour also features a local gluten-free bakery, and a glass of rosé! We make sure you have the most authentic Québécois experience too, with two traditional Quebec dishes. In between food tastings, we stop to talk about Montréal’s culture and history, through its old and not-so-old buildings, in a fresh Local Montréal Tour way!
Historic & Cultural Experience
Walking through Montréal’s cobblestone streets, you will have the chance to relax and take in old-world charm, as your guide leads you to the district’s richest historic spots. Old Montréal is an excellent example of the city’s English and French heritage, which we discuss and observe by visiting various important landmarks. But Old Montreal is more than just history… Charming cafes, trendy speakeasies, art galleries and more line the streets creating a space that is as relevant to Montreal culture today as hundreds of years ago.
Our tour provides you with a unique way of discovering these landmarks, as our local guides share their first-hand experience of these cultures. They will share the stories behind the Old Port, Place d’Armes and more.
