New Tour: Quebec City Food Tours/Visites Gourmandes de Québec!
We are officially launching a new tour: Quebec City Food Tours!
By Kimberly Handfield
We are so excited to finally enable travelers to discover the unbeaten path of St-Roch; a trendy neighborhood in Quebec City. This was a big endeavor for both Frédérik Nissen and Ismael Ulvik, the Co-Founders of company. It took about 9 months to research, create and finally launch. “This was an amazing project,” they stated, “and we are grateful that we can show off some of Quebec’s local artisans, unique flavors and gastronomy”.

The tour is 3 hours long and makes a total of five stops to enjoy various food and drink creations. You begin at the famous microbrewery La Barberie, to enjoy a home-made pea soup and two different artisanal beers. Next, you visit Camellia Sinensis Tea Shop to taste two different type of seasonal teas paired with some home-grown cheese. After, you make your way to the popular restaurant Le Cercle to enjoy a deliciously healthy beet, goat cheese, and balsamic vinegar salad. Then, you go to Le Cloché Penché to taste an artfully presented dish of vaiselle cheese, linguee and duck, along with a small glass of imported wine. Lastly, you make your way over to Le Pied Bleu to taste various chacuteries along with some local apple cider. All the while during the tour you also get a lesson about the history and cultural identity of Quebec City, and what lies in the road less traveled.
