What an excellent tour! The food, the ambiance, our guide, Chris, were all amazing. Historical Borough Market is a great location. The fish and chips were lovely, great crispy batter on the fish and chips that were just right – delicious. The sausage rolls were very tasty and definitely among the best we’ve tasted and very well seasoned. Chris provided us with some very interesting history and stories of the area. He’s a natural. Our favourite food was the doughnut! Omg sugar heaven without being overly sweet and sickly. And all polished off with some local beer, English sparkling wine (as good as Champagne), and a delicious Mead ‘liqueur’. Well done Secret Tours! Paul & Paula

We loved our time with Ellie who was our London bridge food tour host. She was lovely and knowledgeable about food and history, and this tour was definitely a highlight of our trip. We sampled some of the best that borough market and the neighborhood have to offer- bap, fish and chips, cheeses, mead, donuts, sticky toffee pudding, and too many samples from the market.

Oh, Ed. How can we explain how much we loved your tour? I wish I could have packed you in my suitcase and taken you to Paris with me to give us a tour there too! This London Bridge & Borough Market food tour was probably the highlight of my entire trip to Europe. Ed was super friendly and knowledgeable, and he seemed to really enjoy catering the tour to our particular group, which made it more enjoyable for us as well. I feel like we had a unique experience, and it was just so much fun! An unexpected perk was that the tour included a little sight seeing, with Ed s hilarious explanations to accompany us. When he explained about the Shard hotel and later about the mayor, I literally could not breathe I was laughing so hard. In fact, my husband and I enjoyed our afternoon so much that we tried to book another Secret Food Tours for the very next day in Paris–to no luck, I’m afraid. But I’m thrilled to see that they have tours all over the world. I may have to make this a regular thing.

I have done several culinary tours in different cities in the UK and Shoreditch High Street Food Tour did not disappoint me! I loved all the stops and the group that I was with was awesome and fun to tour with. It is a great way to learn about a culture through its culinary heritage. Whether you have got one day or two weeks in London this tour is the best way to see all the food, history, culture and beauty it has to offer.
